Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has confirmed his retirement from boxing, just weeks after his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk

In a brief video shared on his Instagram, the 36-year-old said, “Thanks to everyone who helped out along the way! Happy new year. Jesus is king now and forever,” adding, “Thanks; it’s been a blast, I enjoyed every minute of it.”
Fury, who has previously announced his retirement multiple times, lost his most recent fight to Usyk by unanimous decision in December. This decision means that the much-anticipated fight with Anthony Joshua will no longer take place.
