The UEFA Champions League Round of 16 is set, promising thrilling clashes and high-octane football after the play-off stage concluded
Headlining the draw is another epic showdown between Real Madrid and Manchester City, marking the fifth consecutive season the two giants meet in the knockout rounds.
Their recent history is tightly contested: Madrid edged City in the 2022 semi-finals, City returned the favour in 2023, Madrid triumphed on penalties in 2024, and last season, Los Blancos eliminated City in the Round of 16.

This season, City won 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu during the league phase, setting the stage for yet another gripping encounter.
Another marquee tie sees Paris Saint-Germain face Chelsea in a rematch of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, where the Blues defeated PSG 3-0 last July.
League leaders Arsenal and Bayern Munich will take on Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta, respectively, while Norwegian surprise package Bodo/Glimt will challenge Sporting Lisbon.
Premier League sides Newcastle United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur also face stern tests. Newcastle travel to Barcelona, Liverpool clash with Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray, and Spurs go up against Atletico Madrid.
The first legs of the Round of 16 are scheduled for March 10 and 11, with return fixtures a week later, promising a series of matches packed with drama and footballing brilliance.
