After her management previously declared her dead, popular influencer King Mitchy has returned to social media, posting a video on her Instagram page featuring her mother discussing a project
In the caption, she addressed the recent controversy surrounding her actions and intentions. She began by acknowledging the criticism she has faced:
“A lot of people have a lot to say about me lately… questioning my intentions, dragging my name, and trying to discredit something I did from my heart.”
She went on to defend her school renovation project, explaining that her motivation came from personal experience, not public validation:
“Yes, I renovated that school. I didn’t do it for validation. I did it because I understand what it means to grow up without certain privileges.”
King Mitchy also reflected on how quickly people judge without understanding her background:
“But what hurts me the most is how quick people are to judge when they don’t know anything about my life. You don’t know where I’m coming from.”
She shared a deeply personal account of her upbringing, revealing the challenges she faced growing up without a father:
“I grew up without a father. If I see my father today, I wouldn’t even recognize him. The only time I ever saw him was when I was about 8 years old, and my mother took me to the prison to see him. That was it.”
She continued, emphasizing the resilience required to overcome her hardships:
“You don’t know what it feels like to grow up like that. You don’t know the strength it takes to keep going, to build yourself, to stand on your own. Yet, every day, people sit behind their phones and try to tear me down, insult me, bully me, and make me feel like I’m nothing.”
Despite the criticism, King Mitchy insisted that she will not be defined by others’ words:
“But let me say this clearly: your words do not define me. My story did not break me, it built me.”
She reaffirmed her commitment to acting with integrity and staying true to herself:
“And everything I do, I do it with a genuine heart. If you choose to hate me, that’s your decision. But don’t try to rewrite my truth.”
King Mitchy concluded with a message of determination and positivity:
“I will keep growing. I will keep doing good. And I will not let anyone silence me.”
