Speaking in his usual informal tone, he explained that the initiative has handled a large volume of donations since it began operations, but that a significant portion has already been spent on ongoing activities and interventions.

According to him, close to one billion naira has passed through the organisation’s account, while the remaining balance has now dropped to about ₦19 million.

He said:
“Like play, almost ₦1 billion has been put into the NGO; the current balance is ₦19 million. Money has gone down; we will need to raise more funds soon.”

VeryDarkMan’s fundraising efforts have often drawn public scrutiny, usually centered on transparency, how donations are spent, and how quickly funds move through his initiatives. Although no formal findings have been established against the initiative but that scrutiny has shaped how updates like this are received, While his followers continue to call for clearer breakdowns and stronger accountability in the handling of large public donations.
