Bella Shmurda has opened up about his personal journey, disclosing why he chose to stop smoking weed
During a podcast appearance, Bella shared how cannabis had a negative impact on his well-being, prompting him to rethink his use of the substance.
He explained that the anxiety and fear of the future it triggered pushed him to make the decision to quit.
“I stopped smoking Igbo years back because I started getting anxiety and became scared of the future,” he revealed.
Bella also acknowledged that it was hindering his creativity, stating that it was not contributing positively to his music.
“Smoking wasn’t helping my creativity, so I had to stop it early in my music career,” he added.
