Wizkid and Reekado Banks have apparently put their past differences behind them
The two were recently spotted dining together at a Lagos restaurant, accompanied by rapper Shallipopi.
The cordial atmosphere between Wizkid and Reekado Banks suggests a newfound understanding, four years after their highly publicized falling out.
The rift began in 2020 when Wizkid labeled Reekado Banks a “clout animal” for promoting their collaborative single during the End SARS protests.
Reekado Banks ultimately released the song without Wizkid’s verse, and the two seemed to part ways.
However, their recent reunion has sparked hopes among fans of a potential collaboration.
Wizkid has been enjoying his time in Nigeria since December 2024, performing at various shows during the festive season.
Following the success of his sixth studio album, ‘Morayo’, the Grammy-winning singer is gearing up for a busy 2025 with the announcement of his ‘Morayo’ tour.
