A married woman identified as Mary has accused Nollywood actress Irewole Olaniyan of having an affair with her husband for about three years.
A woman identified as Mary has accused Nollywood actress Irewole Olaniyan of being involved with her husband for about three years.
Mary said she had reached out to the actress privately when she first became aware of the alleged relationship. According to her account, Irewole told her at the time that she had no idea the man was married.
Mary also claimed the actress said the man was not her type and blocked him after their conversation.
She alleged that despite this, contact between the actress and her husband continued. Mary further claimed that her husband spent money on Irewole, including supporting her film projects, trips, bags and other personal expenses.
She also accused the actress of travelling with her husband to South Africa in September 2024.
Mary said she believed the alleged relationship had gone beyond a casual friendship and accused Irewole of getting involved in her marriage. She further alleged that the actress contacted her husband through different phone numbers and asked him for money.
A screenshot posted by Mary also contained a message attributed to Irewole, in which the actress said she had ended the relationship with the man a long time ago.
In one of the screenshots shared by Mary, a message attributed to Irewole states that she had ended her relationship with the man a long time ago. Saying that, since Mary is trying to damage her reputation, indicating that she might simply continue from where she stopped.
