Popular X influencer Alabi Lawrence had a social media user arrested after the individual trolled his wife, Morata, over comments about infertility
The online feud began when a blog announced the birth of musician 2baba and Natasha’s newborn.
The user replied to the post with: “God, when???, prayers ups for them Nigerians,” alongside pictures, seemingly mocking Alabi’s wife.
In another tweet, they reacted to a trending post with: “This ‘If you reach your turn’ trend too funny,” pairing it with a photo of Alabi’s wife thinking and the caption: “If e reach your turn dey think about money.”
The troll also responded to a prompt asking users to “define growth” with: “Yes, finally… Congratulations guys,” sharing a photoshopped image implying Alabi was celebrating his wife’s pregnancy.
Offended by the comments, Alabi involved the police, leading to the user’s arrest. Clips circulating online show the individual at a police station, though official confirmation from authorities is still pending.
