Yaya Toure is prepared to turn down a £30million-a-year offer from the Chinese league in order to remain in the premier league and continue enjoying top flight football.
Their offer would take Toure’s earnings to £577,000 a week after tax, doubling the £240,000 he currently earns at the Etihad, and putting him third in the list of top earners behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 33-year-old is reluctant to move his family from England where they are settled to a different environment, reports also adds.
