One of Ned Nwoko’s wives, Laila Charani, has fired back at Regina Daniels, after the actress allegedly claimed she had been financially supporting her
Reacting to the claims on Instagram, Laila wrote,
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly? I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money into whose account.”
She accused Regina of being dishonest and reminded her that their husband, Ned Nwoko, is strongly against alcohol, drugs, and smoking. According to Laila, the real reason Regina is at odds with their husband is because he wants her to end her alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol.
“You know too well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago,” Laila alleged. “It was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that rescued me from that dark path.”
She went on to describe Regina as a bad influence, claiming she had been supplying drugs to domestic staff and even her younger sister, Destiny. Laila added that she no longer allows her daughters near Regina, accusing the actress of inappropriate relationships with young girls around her.
“Please go and sort yourself out. Seek help immediately and continue with your rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of this,” she warned. “I say this not out of anger, but from a place of truth and concern for the level of lies that you are peddling.”
