Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi is grateful as her new movie, Malaika hit a new milestone
Taking to her Instagram page, she announced that Malaika has grossed 300m since its release in the cinema.
This has made the movie her highest-grossing film of all time and the 9th-grossing Nigerian film of all time. Ijakumo which was released in 2022, held the previous record as it grossed N270m at cinemas; The Ghost and The Tout grossed N134million.
She wrote;
“Thank you GOD and thank you to everyone who has seen Malaika. Malaika is now the 9 highest-grossing Nigerian film of all time. Malaikathemovie is still showing in all cinemas”.
