Kylian Mbappe‘s X account was hacked overnight as the Real Madrid star’s page shared a series of bizarre posts

Mbappe, 25, has enjoyed a solid start to life in the Spanish capital since completing his blockbuster move to the Bernabeu this summer.
The French forward has scored once in three games and already lifted his first piece of silverware with Carlo Ancelotti’s side after they beat Atalanta earlier this month to win the UEFA Super Cup.
However, on Wednesday night, Mbappe’s account shared a series of posts that are reported to be related to a cryptocurrency scam, which included several insults fired at eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi, along with claims that he was set to join Manchester United.
One post said: ‘Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest football player of all time. The midget [Lionel Messi] is NOT my goat.’
Another post read: ‘Manchester is Red,’ before Mbappe later dropped another transfer hint as he said: ‘Yo @ManCity… lool baited I’m going to @ManUTD. 2028 LET’S RUN IT UP ON A FREE TRANSFERRRR.’
Mbappe’s account also claimed fan account @UTDTrey ‘is the best account’, while he described Tottenham as ‘s***’.
A report in The Mirror said the hack was to do with the ‘MBAPPE’ crypto token, with the value of these tokens surging to tens of millions of pounds in a few minutes following the posts, before they subsequently plummeted and returned to a value of zero.
All of the posts have since been deleted by Mbappe, and the French superstar is yet to comment on the hack, with the 25-year-old believed to be the latest high-profile user to be victim of the crypto scam.
