Chidimma Adetshina has explained WHY she DEACTIVATED her X account. She explained this in an interview on Arise 360
She cited the intense backlash and negative feedback related to her nationality and pageant win as the reason for her departure from the platform.
Chidimma stated that reading comments had become a significant part of her day and was affecting her mental health.
She expressed appreciation for her supporters but also acknowledged the potential risks of publicly backing her. Adetshina mentioned that some fans were hesitant to show their support due to fear of being targeted.
She has also limited her comment section on Instagram to mitigate the negative impact.
“Sometimes there are people in the comment section saying, ‘I really like you but I don’t want to put my feelings out there,’ and it’s valid because when people support me, they get dragged. I don’t want people to go through something like that for supporting me,” she said.
