University of Jos, UNIJOS, has elected its first female Students Union Government (SUG), President in person of Pwajok Jane Kangyang, a Medicine and Surgery student
Her groundbreaking victory marks a monumental moment in the 49-year history of the university, establishing her as the first woman to hold the esteemed position.
The announcement of Kangyang’s win is largely been celebrated on campus.
She has also taken to X to celebrate the achievement. She wrote;
