On an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola revealed her emotional journey after experiencing a miscarriage during an IVF treatment.
“This has been a very long process… Just the thought of even being pregnant was such a magical moment for me, and just to have that taken away — it’s devastating for me,” she shared.
Despite the heartbreak, her boyfriend Justin May remained supportive.
During her birthday dinner, Justin surprised Sammi by organizing a party with her family and friends, and then proposed to her, turning a difficult moment into a joyous celebration.
Sammi praised Justin, saying, “He’s so positive and uplifting. He’s so special to me, and I just am so thankful for him.”
