The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Darul’llm Centre for Islamic Studies built by the Department of State Services (DSS) has been commissioned in Kaduna State
The facility was built to promote education, foster religious harmony, and serve orphans and less-privileged members of the community.
Speaking at the event, the DSS Director General, Adeola Ajayi, who was represented by a retired DSS Director, Ahmed Zalmar, revealed that his support for vulnerable and underprivileged groups is channelled through the construction of schools, places of worship, and sports facilities.
He said,“The latest of such is the building and donation of the well-furnished modern Islamic school with support from my friends/associates, which also reflects the core mandate of President Tinubu.”
Further speaking, Ajayi said the initiative is aimed at building trust between the government and the public to bolster internal security through constructive citizen engagement.
“It is also part of my policies to improve the nation’s internal security architecture through conventional and non-conventional engagements.
“I have always channelled parts of Corporate Social Responsibilities and other financial support from stakeholders for such purposes,” he said.
