Singer Simi has called for the punishment of the individual who recorded and shared video showing Comfort Emmanson, an unruly passenger, being forcibly removed from an Ibom Air flight and her chest exposed
The video, which exposed Emmanson’s bare b00bs, has been widely condemned for invading her privacy.
Simi’s concern lies not with Emmanson’s behavior on the flight, where she allegedly assaulted crew members and refused to follow instructions, but with the person who recorded and posted the video without censoring or blurring out the exposed parts.
She questions why the focus is solely on Emmanson’s actions while the person who shared the explicit content remains unaccountable.
In her words, Simi emphasizes that both Emmanson and the person who posted the video should face consequences, stating that one can’t condemn a madness and leave another one.
She said:
“So let’s say the lady is actually mad and did too much… Someone recorded her being dragged off the plane, Recorded her being exposed like that AND THEN POSTED IT without editing out this exposure or blurring it out. Lol.”
“I personally wanna know who posted that video and why no one is holding him/her accountable. Because aunty will face the law, but voluntarily posting her half na.ked for millions of people to see when less than 10 people actually witnessed it in the first place deserves punishment too.”
