Popular singer Omah Lay has accused fellow artist Rema of stealing the concept for his album, sharing screenshots of private conversations where he had previously shared his ideas
This follows an earlier interview in which Omah Lay spoke about how a certain musician took his creative concepts after he trusted him with the details.
He explained that after the other artist released an album using his ideas, he had to return to the studio to rework his own project.
Recently leaked chats, reportedly from Omah Lay’s alternate account, show exchanges between the two artists from 2023 discussing collaboration and developing a new sound together. The messages reveal a back-and-forth of ideas and plans for working jointly before the alleged dispute arose.
