Phyna, Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, took a heartfelt moment to celebrate her late sister Ruth Otabor’s son, Bernard, on his birthday
Amidst recent online disputes involving the Dangote Group, Phyna paused to honor her nephew with a touching tribute on social media.
She wrote, “Happy birthday to the bright star my sister left with us. In your smile, your eyes, and your spirit, we see pieces of her every day. You are a blessing, a joy, and a reminder of love that never fades. Today, we celebrate YOU—your growth, your happiness, and the amazing person you’re becoming. Phyna also affectionately added, “Oh my Bernard,” highlighting her deep love and connection with her nephew.
The celebration comes after the tragic loss of Ruth, who died in an accident involving a Dangote truck in Auchi. Phyna has been vocal about the support she received from the Dangote Group during that difficult time, including assistance with funeral arrangements.
Despite the challenges, Phyna continues to honor her sister’s memory while celebrating Bernard’s milestones and the joy he brings to their family.
