After Imisi was crowned the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 last night, Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju sparked conversation online with a pointed observation about the show’s prize system
On his X account, Adeyanju questioned the transparency of the rewards, writing:
“Do they really give BBNaija winners the prize money? The reason I am asking is because many of them end up looking extremely broke thereafter.”
His comment quickly drew attention, with fans and critics debating whether the winners truly receive and benefit from their N150 million prize, which includes cash and additional rewards.
