US rapper, Blueface is finally out of prison, and he didn’t waste time letting fans know. His mother, Karlissa Saffold, first teased his release with a playful clip of a man lying under bed covers, sparking speculation online
Later, Blueface went live with a selfie video to confirm he’s back, warning followers to engage with him quickly before he switches his Instagram to private.
In the video, the rapper appears shirtless, sporting a diamond chain and a white cap. “Blueface home,” he laughs, hinting at a “secret society” vibe as he announces he’ll make his account private within 24 hours. Fans flooded the post with over 11,000 reactions within an hour, excited to see the star after his absence.
Blueface had turned himself in to authorities in January 2024 after violating probation linked to a 2021 assault conviction. In August, a judge sentenced him to four years behind bars, but he served 21 months before his release, according to reports from XXL.
In October, Karlissa told TMZ that fans would be seeing him “in days” and shared updates on his physical transformation while incarcerated, including a 70-pound weight gain. She also highlighted his commitment to fitness and preparation for life after prison. She noted that both she and Blueface’s father, Jonathan Sr., would hold him accountable moving forward, though the rapper’s choices ultimately remain his own.
Karlissa also hinted that a homecoming celebration is in the works. Before Blueface confirmed his release, she had already teased fans with a clip of his son watching a man asleep in bed and shared a grateful Instagram Story that simply read, “Thank you God.”
