Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly run afoul of prison rules at Fort Dix after being caught brewing and consuming homemade alcohol, breaking the sobriety commitment he made to a judge just weeks ago
According to TMZ, Diddy was discovered with a DIY prison-made concoction — a fermented mixture of Fanta, sugar, and apples — created by inmates to produce alcohol inside the low-security New Jersey facility.

Initially, prison officials considered disciplining him and moving him to another unit, but they later decided to let him stay in his current housing block.
The incident casts doubt on Diddy’s recent claims of personal transformation. Prior to his sentencing last month, he told the court he had been sober for the first time in 25 years and was committed to turning his life around. In a letter to the judge, he wrote that the “old version” of himself had died in prison and that he was embracing a new direction.
Photos taken recently show Diddy relaxed and smiling with fellow inmates in the Fort Dix yard, appearing well-adjusted to prison life, a stark contrast to his pledge of sobriety.
Diddy is serving a 50-month sentence after his July conviction on two counts of violating the Mann Act. While prison officials have not commented on the alcohol incident, the violation will remain on his record and could affect his privileges or chances for early release.
