Savannah Guthrie, the TODAY show anchor, broke down in a heart-wrenching video pleading for the safe return of her 84-year-old mother, Nancy, who has been missing for two weeks.
Tears streamed down Savannah’s face as she delivered her message straight to the camera, her voice trembling with fear and hope. She told whoever may have taken her mother:
“We still have hope and we still believe.”
In her emotional appeal, she added: “To whoever has her or knows where she is … It’s never too late and you’re not lost or alone, and it is never too late to do the right thing.”
Nancy, who requires daily medication, is in poor health, making her disappearance even more urgent. It is unclear whether she has had access to her necessary treatment.
Despite her anguish, Savannah expressed faith in humanity, saying she believes “in the essential goodness of every human being.”
The video captures a daughter’s raw heartbreak, crying for her mother while clinging to hope that she will be found.
