The Nigerian movie industry is on fire as Lizzy Gold has finally broken her silence following alleged gossip by colleague Ekene Umenwa.
In a no-holds-barred outburst that has since sent social media into a frenzy, Lizzy Gold slammed what she described as “cheap dirty gossip” allegedly spread about her personal life and hygiene.
The actress did not mince words as she reacted to claims suggesting she has body odour and that her two children are from different men.
“How can you call yourself JESUS BABY and all you do is sit down and fabricate huge lies just to tarnish your colleague’s image?” she fumed.
Clearly angered, Lizzy dismissed the hygiene accusation outright, insisting that her personal cleanliness is not up for debate.
“Body odour??? Everyone in Nollywood knows my personal hygiene is 100%. It’s not even something I need to prove to anyone,” she stated.
The actress also addressed rumours about her children, questioning the source of such claims.
“That my two kids are from different men?? How?? Are we friends? Do you know anything about me?” she asked.
Lizzy further explained that she intentionally keeps her distance from certain colleagues to avoid drama, but was shocked that her name was still dragged into what she described as gossip.
“This is exactly why I always maintain my space just to avoid your kind, yet you still found a way to involve my name,” she wrote.
In a fiery closing remark, she blasted the use of the nickname “JESUS BABY,” telling the alleged gossip to seek divine forgiveness.
“JESUS BABY my foot. You better ask God for forgiveness and mercy. You are such a terrible human being.”
As of the time of filing this report, Ekene Umenwa has not publicly responded to the allegations.
