Jennifer Runyon, the actress known for her roles in Ghostbusters and the sitcom Charles in Charge, has d!ed.
Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news in a message shared on social media, revealing that she passed away Friday night after a difficult health struggle.
In the post, they wrote, “This past Friday night our beloved Jennifer passed away. It was a long and arduous journey that ended with her surrounded by her family.”
The family also reflected on the kind of person she was, adding that she will
“always be remembered for her love of life and her devotion to her family and friends,” before ending the tribute with, “Rest in peace our Jenn.”
While the family did not publicly state an official cause of death, their message suggested she had been dealing with a serious health battle for quite some time.
Runyon became a familiar face to many fans through her work in both film and television during the 1980s, earning recognition for her appearance in Ghostbusters and her role in the popular sitcom Charles in Charge.
