Stephanie Promise Ikedieze, wife of Nollywood star Chinedu Ikedieze, better known as Aki, recently took matters into her own hands to fix potholes in Ikeja, Lagos.
She arrived with bags of cement and gravel in her car and immediately got to work, filling in the damaged sections of the road.
Accompanied by a cameraman, she carefully patched up each pothole, explaining her actions as she went along.
“This is Ikeja. I want to fill up some of the potholes we have here on the street, just me and my cameraman,” she said,
emphasizing her goal to make the road safer and easier for drivers.
While her initiative is commendable, questions remain about whether such work can be done on public roads without official permission, and whether it might draw attention from local authorities.
