Pastor Olukorede Komaiya says he has the anointing to make billionaires

Pastor Olukorede Olanrewaju Omoyemi Komaiya, founder of TMP Church, has outlined his perspective on giving, wealth, and financial discipline, asserting that faith and financial stewardship are closely linked to prosperity.

During a recent sermon, Pastor Komaiya emphasized that his ministry carries a unique spiritual assignment focused on creating wealth. “I am among the few pastors with the anointing to raise billionaires. If you do not rise to be a covenant practitioner, cycles of lack may persist,” he said.

He urged believers to view giving as more than an obligation, stressing the importance of timing, consistency, and intention. “It is not only about how much you give, but also how you give it, when you give it, and how consistently you do so. These are authentic expressions of your love for God,” Pastor Komaiya explained.

The pastor also addressed the influence of online criticism and social media on believers, warning against following voices that misunderstand the “kingdom economy.” “Some people read junk online and follow those who constantly question pastors without understanding spiritual principles,” he said.

Linking financial behaviour to life outcomes, Pastor Komaiya added, “To know how someone loves, observe the way they give.Financial unfaithfulness can be a reason for lack. Studies show that the lives of faithful tithers are far more productive than those who do not tithe.”

Through his sermon, Pastor Komaiya reinforced the idea that disciplined financial practices, combined with spiritual commitment, can be a pathway to wealth creation and personal growth for believers.

His remarks have since drawn mixed reactions, with critics questioning the emphasis on wealth and the link between giving and financial outcomes, arguing that such teachings can place undue pressure on believers. Others, however, view his message as a reinforcement of long-held prosperity principles, saying it encourages discipline, faith, and a deeper commitment to spiritual and financial responsibility.
