J Martins has appealed to Peter and Paul Okoye, the former twin duo of Psquare, to reconcile their differences and stop airing their disputes publicly

Martins’ call for peace comes after Peter Okoye, known as Mr. P, announced that he had officially changed his birthday. Peter, who had shared November 18 as his birthday with his twin brother Paul for decades, declared that he would now celebrate on November 30.
In a post on X, Martins expressed confusion over Peter’s decision, urging the brothers to resolve their issues privately.
He emphasized their long-standing relationship, stating:
“These are my brothers for more than two decades, I still don’t understand why one will just wake up decades to change his own birthday separate from his twin brother?”
Martins urged the brothers to “fix these stuff inside our house & not bring this shame on Ndi Igbo nke anyi.”
The Okoye brothers, once the powerhouse of Nigerian music as Psquare, have faced a turbulent relationship over the years. Their fallout in 2017, stemming from a dispute over their older brother Jude Okoye’s role as manager, led to a public breakup.
Although they reconciled in November 2021 and performed together in December, the feud resurfaced in 2024 when Paul accused Peter of being involved in his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Peter later raised concerns about alleged financial mismanagement within their previous management, reigniting legal battles and public disagreements.
