Veteran Korean actor Park Dong-bin has reportedly d!ed. He was 56
On Wednesday, April 29, Park — who gained internet fame after a meme of him starring in 2012’s South Korean TV series It Was Love went viral — was found de.ad at a restaurant he was getting ready to open in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, according to The Korea Times, which also cited information from local daily newspaper Hankook Ilbo.
Park was discovered deceased at around 4:25 p.m. local time, Korea JoongAng Daily and The Chosun Daily stated, citing the Pyeongtaek Police Station.
Officials found so signs of foul play or forced entry at the scene, The Korea Times reported.
Police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding Park’s de.ath, the outlet noted.
Park’s funeral was scheduled for the morning of Friday, May 1. The late actor’s remains will pass through the Yongin Forest of Peace before being taken to his final resting place at Woosung Memorial Park, The Korea Times stated.
