Wizkid’s longtime associate, Piper, has publicly apologized to the Afrobeats star, admitting he was wrong and taking full responsibility for his actions
In a message shared on social media, Piper reflected on their friendship, acknowledged the pain he caused, and expressed regret over how he treated the Grammy-winning singer.

He wrote:
“Dear @wizkidayo
I hope this message finds you well. I’ve been reflecting a lot lately, and I felt it was important to apologize for how I wronged you. I take full responsibility for my actions and the hurt I caused. There’s no excuse for it, and I own all the faults and blame. You were always a great friend to me you were kind, supportive, and genuinely good and I regret not treating our friendship with the same level of care and respect.
This apology comes purely from a place of maturity and self-reflection. I’m not writing to force anything or expect us to go back to how things were. I just felt it was the right thing to do to acknowledge my mistakes and let you know I’m truly sorry.
Thank you for everything you brought into my life during the time we were close. I wish you nothing but the best moving forward.
Take care Otunba. Miss you like krazy. Words can’t even help me express all I feel I pray your Resplendence stays intact forever.”

You really must be dumb to come out and say this. You were his friend. A friend to someone that has millions of people who want that same position you occupied. But you messed it up and this is all you have to say. Please move on
