Davido has dared other African artistes, challenging anyone who believes they can match his catalogue in a hit-for-hit battle
The singer’s challenge followed a post from an X user who praised his collection of hit songs while comparing him with fellow Nigerian superstar Olamide.
The user claimed that Davido was comfortably ahead in a potential hit-for-hit contest with Olamide, adding that the difference between both artistes was significant despite the jokes often made about Davido online.
The user wrote: “Davido is clearing Olamide hit for hit. I know we joke about Davido all the time, but it’s really not even close.”
Another user then took the praise a step further, declaring that no African artiste could go hit for hit with Davido.
Davido appeared to embrace the challenge, responding to the claim with a brief but confident message.
“BRING IT ON,” the singer replied.
The user responded: “@davido talk your talk.”
The singer has built an extensive catalogue throughout his career, including songs such as “Fall,” “If,” “FIA,” “Aye,” “Unavailable” and “Feel.”
