VeryDarkMan recalled a warning Burna Boy once gave him about Nigerians. According to him, Burna warned that the same people he is fight for can turn around and betray you when they get the opportunity.
In the post he shared, VeryDarkMan said:
“The Nigerians I’m fighting for will backstab me. They’ll put knife in your neck if they have the opportunity. Fighting for Nigerians is tiring.”
VeryDarkMan also pointed to the backlash Burna Boy faced over an incident at his UK show.
He questioned why Nigerians were quick to join the criticism of their own international star simply because Burna told someone to leave his show.
“Same Nigerians that tried to cancel Burna of their own because of what happened in his UK show. Una international star. Just because him tell one person make him Comot from him show, Una join them everybody wan cancel am”, he said.
His statement comes shortly after the Nigeria Police Force invited him to provide evidence supporting allegations he made about some police officers allegedly aiding k!dnappers.
VeryDarkMan has maintained that he is ready to face the authorities and defend his claims, but said he would rather present his evidence in court if the matter gets there.
