Alleged husband killer, Yewande Oyediran who is alleged to
have killed her France based husband in Ibadan, Oyo State has been granted the privilege
of wearing a veil to court during her trial to protect her identity. Though the
deceased lawyer kicked against the idea saying it won’t make the court know if
she was the real culprit, but the court agreed to let the accused person appear
wearing a veil, saying it would give the suspect the freedom to show her face
to only lawyers and the trial judge. She wore it at the last hearing.
