Nigerian music star Davido has publicly declared his support for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is also his uncle, ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
In a message shared on his page, the singer warned against any attempt to manipulate the electoral process and pledged to stand by the governor during the poll.
“On August 15, anybody wey try to rig go collect in the highest order. I will be in the field to defend our votes. I am at your back Governor Adeleke”
Davido’s remarks come as political activities intensify in Osun State ahead of the election, with parties and supporters mobilising across the state.
