Content creator DJ Chicken has been arrested over controversial remarks made about Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu
Reports of his arrest surfaced days after a video in which he made about k!lling the President’s son.
The development was disclosed by a man identified as his lawyer, who claimed DJ Chicken was arrested in Ikeja and is currently in the custody of security authorities.
According to him, “DJ Chicken is now with the authorities. He was arrested at Ikeja. He is now at Ikeja Police Headquarters, but I’m very sure it is DSS. He was arrested in connection with the statement he made some days ago about the son of the President.”
The lawyer appealed to the President, government officials and DJ Chicken’s supporters to intervene, describing the content creator as someone struggling mentally.
“President, please forgive Chicken. He’s not okay like that mentally. He’s my own personal project. As a criminal lawyer, I picked Chicken because I wanted to give back to society. He has messed up, but please we are begging.”
He further urged anyone with connections to the Presidency to help secure DJ Chicken’s release, saying, “If you know someone in government, help us so he can gain his freedom. Please.”
