Dogara, Other Reps Pay Condolence Visit To Sokoto Governor Over Death Of Commissioner

    Dogara, on Sunday night led other Reps to pay a condolence visit to the
    governor of Sokoto State over the death‎ of the state commissioner of science
    and technology, Nasiru Zarummai, who died Friday night‎.
    “We are here as a family to pay you a condolence visit.
    The late commissioner for science and technology was like a brother to us. He’s
    someone we all know was very close to you. We know him and to some extent, we
    know the role he played, even during your campaign.

    “So for us, it’s really a loss to all of us, not just
    to you and the people of Sokoto State, and we have come to share with you, this
    moment of grief and to say that whether in joy we’re together, and in grief
    we’ll be together, and to pray that whatever is left behind God will bless it,
    and God will grant you and the entire people of Sokoto the fortitude to bear
    this irreparable loss,” the speaker said.
