Nasboi has reacted to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards in Oyo State
Writing the President, he urged his Government to extend similar security measures to other parts of the country.
His reaction comes after reports that the President approved the deployment of forest guards in Oyo as part of efforts to release abducted students and teachers and to tackle insecurity in the state.
Nasboi expressed concern that focusing security intervention on only one state would leave other regions vulnerable.
His words;
“Dear President BOLA AHMED TINUBU
If the government has provided 1000 forest guards in the oyo community.
What about borno? Zamfara?
Osun? Kebbi?
Niger delta, NIGERIA?
At this point, the entire country needs security.”
