Renowned Nigerian rapper, Falz the Bad Guy, has joined the chorus of voices condemning the government’s handling of the ongoing nationwide hunger protests
In a series of tweets, Falz criticized the president’s response to the crisis, questioning his humanity and warning of impending consequences.
Falz’s tweets read:
– “They say make you leave am, you no gree. Say na your birthright. You can’t now turn a deaf ear.”
– “How long do you think you can keep on pushing the people back before it blows up in your face?”
– “You tried to make it look like the protests were ‘politically motivated’. Shebi una don see now?”
– “Genuinely don’t know why it’s so difficult to be humane.”
The rapper’s tweets also touch on the government’s attempt to downplay the protests as politically motivated, implying that the authorities are out of touch with the people’s genuine concerns.
