In Gumel town, the situation is relatively calm, with security operatives blocking major roads to prevent regrouping.
Efforts to gather updates from other areas, including Hadeji, Birnin Kudu, Jahun, and Kazaure, were unsuccessful due to poor communication networks.
The situation in Jigawa state remains tense, with youths continuing to defy the curfew and security agencies working to maintain control.
