A family has been accused of repeatedly leaving restaurants without paying their bills. Two new restaurants joined the chorus of complaints after spotting the same group dining and dashing.
The latest incident occurred at Bella Ciao in Port Talbot, where the family left without paying a £329 bill. Other restaurants, including The Yard in Cowbridge and River House in Swansea, have also fallen victim to similar schemes.
The family’s modus operandi involves ordering expensive meals and drinks before leaving without settling their bill. Managers describe the incidents as well-planned, with the family disappearing without a trace. These dine and dash episodes have sparked public outrage, with CCTV footage garnering millions of views online.
One restaurant, La Casona, shared their experience on social media, detailing how the family left without paying almost £300. Despite efforts to track them down, the culprits remain at large. Restaurant owners emphasize the impact these incidents have on their businesses, expressing frustration and disbelief at the audacity of the perpetrators.
