Fans Suggest Actress Kidney Disease Was Caused By Waist Trainer

An actress who has previously admitted to using a waist
trainer has revealed she is receiving hospital treatment after suffering a
    kidney disease.

Princess Shyngle, who is also a writer and producer, posted
three images on Instagram on Friday showing her arm hooked up to an intravenous
    drip.
The 24-year-old, who previously credited the trainers for
her curvaceous figure, captioned the post: ‘Hospital bound… Kidney disease
healing mercies oh Lord need your prayers ya’ll.’

Her illness comes as doctors warned that waist trainers, or
corsets that women wear to achieve a smaller waist, can cause damage to
    internal organs.
Dr Galyna Selezneva, an aesthetic medical doctor who works
at a London-based cosmetic surgery, spoke to MailOnline about the problems that
can be associated with waist training, including changes to the ribs, bone
    structure and inner organ positions.
She said: ‘If someone gets addicted to wearing a waist
trainer day after day the inner organs will shift. There will be a disbalance
in the cavity as it is not normal to have such as small waist. There can also
be changes to the ribs and bone structures. Obviously if you are wearing them
repeatedly, you are not exercising the muscles so they are also wasting.’
Dr Galyna also added that kidney disease can cover a variety
of illness including kidney stones, which would not be down to waist trainers.
Fans were quick to speculate that the use of such trainers
could be the reason for the actress’s illness.
Maria Selema wrote on Instagram underneath the picture: ‘Get
well soon.. You need to stop waist training my dear you been squeezing your
    organs’ (sic).
Another user, known as Phreshmonney, said: ‘The hard
truth….. might be as a result of waist trainers; squeezed your internal
organs to no breathing space’ (sic).

It is not known whether Princess, who is originally from The
Gambia, has been released from hospital or what condition she is in.
