Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has responded to accusations that he is an APC mole in the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), insisting that his support for Peter Obi does not mean he should avoid people from other political camps.
Fayose faced questions over his political loyalty after pictures of him spending time with Joaquin, the son of FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, drew attention.
Addressing the criticism, Fayose explained that supporting Obi does not mean he would snub Wike’s son or Seyi Tinubu if they approached him to exchange greetings.
In a post he shared, he said:
“Because I am supporting NDC and Peter Obi doesn’t mean wike’s son or Seyi Tinubu will come and greet me as an elder and I will push them away.
“Nobody give me money to support Obi, I am using my money to support Peter Obi.”
Fayose maintained that his support for Obi is his personal decision and not something he was paid to do. He also made it clear that his political choice would not prevent him from being courteous to people associated with opposing political camps.
