Former Nigerian Vice President Namadi Sambo has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)
Sambo, who served as vice president under President Goodluck Jonathan from 2010 to 2015, was reported to have joined the Kaduna State chapter of the APC on Wednesday.
The defection was confirmed by APC chieftain Imran Muhammad in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he shared the news of Sambo’s switch to the ruling party.
