Tensions are still rising in the ongoing family drama involving Gehgeh, as his sister has come forward again to challenge the narrative around her situation.
She didn’t hold back while recounting a painful experience that left her embarrassed and questioning her brother’s support. According to her, despite being related, she was treated like an outsider during a major family event.
“I am earning #30,000 as salary. The day I went to my brother, Gehgeh’s house warming, the bouncer sent me away from the gate. My brother didn’t even invite me, it was the family members he told that invited me and I was bounced at the gate. I felt so ashamed,” she said.
Addressing rumors that she had already received financial help from Gehgeh, she strongly denied the claims and urged people to think critically about the situation.
“Some people said Gehgeh gave me bundles of money and rented a house for me. If that was true, would I still come out to cry? Ask Gehgeh who he has truly empowered in the family. If I was receiving all that, what would I gain by tarnishing his image?” she added.
While the back-and-forth continues to stir reactions online, a surprising twist came from feminist advocate Obidi, who stepped in to support her. During a livestream, Obidi reportedly raised ₦2 million for Gehgeh’s sister and pledged to sponsor her education in nursing, with plans to help her relocate abroad after graduation.
