Gospel singer Agnes Iroh has publicly expressed her disappointment and frustration with popular rapper Olamide, who allegedly used a part of her song “Ladder” in his track “Our Lord Jesus” without obtaining permission

In a viral video, Iroh revealed that she had been battling illness, which delayed her response to Olamide’s actions.
She extended an invitation to the singer, asking him to visit her and make amends for using her work without authorization.
Other Nigerian artists, such as Simi and Burna Boy, have demonstrated respect for their colleagues’ intellectual property by obtaining permission and collaborating with the original creators.
