A glamorous fitness influencer and mum has d!ed after a boob job went horribly wrong
Brazilian model and mother-of-one Derleya Alves suffered complications post-op and passed away just eight days after going under the knife.
The fitness and lifestyle influencer tragically posting her final photo recovering from surgery days before she d!ed on Saturday night.
Derleya, 26, went in for the breast augmentation on February 20.
Immediately after the procedure she began to suffer from intense abdominal pain
Despite the pain, she managed to post to final photos, sharing images of her recovering in hospital.
One video showed her mother helping her dress in her hospital room.
She wrote: “Mum getting me ready after my bath.”
As her condition worsened, doctors desperately tried to save her life.
She underwent multiple tests and two further surgeries in an effort to mitigate the damage.
During those surgeries, her intestines were repaired and one of her ovaries was removed.
Sadly, she passed away from complications in Marabá Municipal Hospital, northern Brazil.
Tragically, she leaves behind a young son.
The medical team identified a possible congenital intestinal abnormality that may have contributed to the severity of her condition.
So far, there is no suspicion of medical malpractice.
However, the authorities are waiting for the results of a detailed analysis of her condition before confirming her exact cause of death.
She was buried at the Assembleia de Deus Missão Church in Marabá on Sunday afternoon.
