The traditional ruler of Arochukwu, Abia State, has sparked speculation that the late Alexx Ekubo may be expecting a child with his wife.
The actor’s remains arrived in his hometown on Wednesday, June 17, ahead of his burial ceremonies scheduled for June 18. During the procession, the convoy conveying his body made a stop at the palace of the Eze of Arochukwu, where prayers were offered in his honour.
While addressing the gathering, the monarch prayed for the continuation of the actor’s family line and referenced reports that Alexx’s wife is pregnant.
“The child we hear she’s carrying will do exploits more than his father,” the traditional ruler said during the prayer.
He also asked for divine protection over the unborn child and expressed hope that the actor’s legacy would live on through future generations.
