Phyna’s sister, Ruth Otabor, has d!ed from injuries she sustained in an accident involving a Dangote truck
Ruth was involved in the crash on August 13, 2025, when a heavy-duty truck reportedly linked to the Dangote Group struck her, crushing her leg and leading to an emergency amputation.
Despite efforts to save her, she passed away on Sunday, August 31, at about 6:30 a.m.
The Otabor family, through Eko Solicitors & Advocates, confirmed her de..ath and appealed for privacy as they mourn. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
This marks a tragic loss for Phyna, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, and her family.
