The de.ath of veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has left some of his colleagues and friends struggling to hold back their emotions.
K1, Malaika and Femi Adebayo are among those mourning the veteran actor following his de.ath.
K1 De Ultimate was performing when he received the news and became emotional, breaking down in tears.
Femi Adebayo described Ogogo as a great man who gave everything in his fight against illness.
“Uncle Taiwo was a great man. He fought with all his might”, he said.
Malaika also received the news while performing on stage and reflected on the prayers, fasting and support Ogogo received during his illness.
“We prayed, We fasted, We all showed love but God loves him more, May the soul of our legend Actor Taiwo Hassan Ogogo find rest and may God console his family members”, he said.
For those who worked with and knew Ogogo, his de.ath marks the loss of a familiar figure in Yoruba entertainment whose career spanned several decades.
