Singer Oyinlomo Diamond is opening up about a major milestone in her life ten years of living free from domestic vi0lence.
Reflecting on her past, she made it clear that abuse has no place in any relationship. In her words, “Nobody should raise hands on each other in a relationship or marriage. You don’t raise your hands on someone you love.”
She went on to explain that leaving wasn’t an instant decision. Instead, she carefully planned her exit back in 2016 so she could leave with her children. She also acknowledged that not everyone has the same advantage she did, saying, “I will not advise any woman that is not financially stable to leave with their kids at once. It was easy for me because I was the breadwinner in the relationship.”
Now, ten years later, she takes pride in how far she has come. “I am proud of myself today because I am 20 times better than I was 10 years ago,” she shared, noting her growth and resilience over the years.
She also spoke about raising her children on her own and staying grounded despite the challenges. “Taking care of kids alone and not sleeping around to take care of them is a flex for me,” she added.
Using her experience to encourage others, she delivered a strong message to anyone facing abuse: “If you are going through domestic vi0lence in your relationship or marriage, LEAVE TO LIVE. Don’t think about what people will say.”
She revealed that she has completely cut ties with her former partner, saying, “I have never set eyes on him in 10 years. Toxic and violent people don’t change.”
Today, she stands firm in her truth and strength, declaring, “I am a survivor.”

Way to go, Sis! Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍 👌
At the end of the day, the same people condenming someone for leaving a toxic marriage are still the same people that will turn around and blame her, if she dies in it…
